Is Tsukasa One Needy Ancient Girl?
Now that the married couple is back at the bath house? It’s time to get questioned by Asa. Kaname’s sister. All she wants to know is if Nasa is bored of Tsukasa.

That pushes all of Tsukasa’s buttons on one move. Kaname shows up and needs Nasa’s aid as the bath house boiler needs repairs. She does answer Tsukada’s angry question well though.

Nasa is in the process of putting the device back together. There is nothing said about how Tokiko got a hold of this gadget, or how it reads 5-D chips, but I guess Volume 23 will explains it.

As Nasa goes off to fix the boiler, Tsukasa picks up the device… And it falls apart on the spot. Nasa returns to find the device spread all over the table. And Tsukasa panicking. Uh-boy.

Anyway it’s an a-ok thing. Nasa will be putting together the device. And take a long long time to build it. All the way seemingly to Volume 23. Sigh. A problem as the series ends at Volume 26.

Well we are rolling into the long long flashback as of next week I guess. The long prelude before we find out how Tsukasa became an immortal. Only that will take… A long long time. Sigh.

They Grow Up So… Because Linear Time.
So wow. The character I thought was a guy is supposed to be a female butler? So I guess that’s why it’s ok for Lilith and her to bathe together in the hot springs of the resort.

Duluth is suddenly worried that Yuri will grow up to the point that he doesn’t need her anymore. Except I think this title is missing the point as to why he needs her.

He doesn’t need her because he’s not grown up yet. He needs her because he lost his family before he was ready to be alone. Though nobody really is alone enough to bear the loss of family.

This makes me worried about Volume 7. Is she just going to leave once it’s deemed he’s adult enough? I guess so but… Wow. And yes. Rule34 contains the secrets of what Lilith looks like showing her breasts.

There. Don’t you regret it everytime I tell you such pointless info? I know I end up regretting it. As I have to research it to make sure it actually exists. And it does. Urgh.

Let’s see. The Chapter ends with that romance crazed girl catching Lilith and her butler together. Informing us that she’s a she. Also Yuri sees Lilith before she goes. He thanks her and says it’s ok to wait back at the manor.

I’m guessing she will learn he remade a friendship during the trip when he returns. Meantime? Tomorrow we watch Lilith getting away back at the manor waiting for Yuri to return. See you.

It Turned Out As Expected
So they buy all the stuff he needs for the trip, pack it all up… But will Yuri go? Lilith seems to think that he might still not go.

But he has decided. After realizing how he isolated himself after his parents deaths, he decides to bring his self imposed exile to an end. He decides to join the class on the ski trip.

That’s good. The trip is his idea of proving himself to Lilith. That he can function on his own without her. But I think it’s also to maybe reverse the self loneliness he inflicted on himself after his parents deaths.

So next Chapter has him on the trip. Plenty of chances to reconnect with former friends. Make new friends. Take that girl who loves him and slam dunk her into a snowbank to cool her heated emotions.

We continue on tomorrow. Hmm… I want to get Poirot done tonight so I’ll ask here. Anyone realize they’re better off pre ordering DVDs? I was ready to order Lower Decks Season 4 but it was marked up by $2.50!

I might get 2 DVD Seasons instead (Peacemaker Season 1 & The Sandman Season 1) instead. Means a bit more work but two is always more than one. That and… Suddenly Amazon removed Harley Quinn Season 4 from preorder.

I know it was there. I saw it right up until today. Marked at $19.99 pre order! What gives… Sigh. Anyone know comment and tell me. Thanks.

It’s So Natural Random Female Characters Parents Do It!
Hence why there’s a random female character going on about her parents doing it. Because they bathe and soap each other up.

Honestly at times this writer, bless his skillful writing prose, rolls right into Rule 34 without even thinking twice. Nobody wants to be told to bathe together because your parents do it!

Also yes. Chitoae is still hung up about Nasa getting intimate with Tsukasa this late in the series. Her immortality isn’t because she’s The Darkness. Sex won’t make her mortal!… I think…

Does anyone else think she’s going to die and leave Nasa immortal reversing roles in a stupid post ending scene at the finale hundreds of years into the future??? Ugh. No. Don’t do it.

Because Tsukasa has been chomping at the proverbial bit about Nasa with these female students… Despite the fact he’s been teaching them for months and nothing happened… She decides to lay claim on Nasa by reminding him that he’s her husband.

But easier said than done. Going into the bath area doesn’t get them immediately into the bath. They’ll do it next Chapter (tomorrow) but yeah… Also Chitoseis close to killing someone.

So tomorrow it’s another misadventure in bathing with the married couple whose marriage is an eternal struggle to… Get Tsukasa to stop being immortally seventeen. Sounds like a new teen nagazine. Immortally Seventeen. Tomorrow. See you.

VIZ Fly Me To The Moon Volume 20 Review One Hundred & Eighty-Three (SPOILERS) (Digital)

So Obvious I Bet You Figured It Out.
Not the Kaguya thing… Again SPOILERS. If you are watching the Anime but haven’t read every review of the manga to date? Then major spoilers… Forever.

Literally forever as the revelations tap was turned on by Volume 15. And hasn’t stopped revealing since then. Speaking of revealing let’s get the ladies naked and bathing next review.

Why yes I am a horrible human being. Thanks for noticing. Anyway remember Kaguya’s two entourage friends? Started out as friends, but became sisters when one girl lost her parents in a case of sudden character plot syndrome?

We know they had a rivalry. Because one girl was upset that the other sister suddenly seemed smarter than her. She then befriended the immortal Kaguya.

If course nobody knows that Kaguya is in reality the so called Goddess Of The Moon. And from what I know she’s not really a goddess. She’s either Japanese Wolverine, or a Sailor Soldier clone from planet Plot Convenient. Something.

That friendship she has with both girls allows her to become a negotiator between the two. Which lasts all of a few pages. After their latest spat Kaguya goes and tells her the truth.

The reason why the other sister became so smart? It was to keep up with maybe her rival… Yeah. The girl we have been following this Chapter. She’s been angry basically over nothing.

And so they’re the best of friends and sisters again. Kaguya is their Number One Highlander pal from the Planet Sean Connery, and all is well… Or something.

Flashback is finally over. Back to the present… Where we distract you from thinking about Kaguya’s secrets with barely clad towel wearing naked women. Distracting huh?

Well like I said. The truth won’t be revealed until Next Volume (21) so we might as well just chill and enjoy the get together. Maybe. Bath time tomorrow. See you…

VIZ Komi Can’t Communicate Volume 14 Review Chapter One Hundred & Ninety-Three Part 2 (Digital)

The Most Entertaining Montage Sequence This Month!
So this will be short. Just sit back and absorb the montage. And all the appearances from Year 1. Including the Rope Pull Game Old Lady… Spooky.

By the end of this Chapter? If Komi needed proof that she was well on her way to 100 earned Friends? This is the Chapter. It cements firmly in her mind that she’s truly on her way.

This festival might be the closing episode of Season 3. Meaning once I get Volume 15 we are giving into Season 4 territory. I’ll just assume that is the case.

So. We have a few days and two Chzptersleft to wrap Volume 14. It’s time to explore the festival,and watch the fireworks. Fun eh? We will see how that turns out. Tomorrow. See you.

VIZ Fly Me To The Moon Volume 20 Review Chapter One Hundred & Eighty-Two Part 1 (SPOILERS) (Digital)

Who Wants A Few Weeks Of Padding!
That seems to be coming up. I guess we need padding. They’re just holding off the reveal that… Oh. Right. By now you know we are so deep in that SPOILERS exist every review. Yes?

Well there are spoilers in every review. Because we are finally near the end of the series. It ends this November at Volume 26! So yeah. Stop reading if you are watching the Anime and want no spoilers.

Ok? Ok! Ahem… Sigh. They’re just holding off the reveal that Ksguya is the so called Goddess Of The Moon that Tsukasa sought for lo 1400 years. I’m sure disappointment will come soon…

Anyway this padding finally gives us the back story on the two friends of Kaguya. Sisters by death. Their families were friends, but when one girls mom and dad died she was adopted by the other family. Instant sisters.

We find out that instant sisterhood was not easy. Especially as they are polar opposites. One girl was a tomboy who didn’t mind frogs… Or giant toads… The other not so much. Also didn’t appreciate wearing a toad on her head.

By Junior High one girl was moving up in the World as the smart one. The other one struggled. They ended up in the same Junior High, but one girl struggled to beat her “sister” academically.

So enter Kaguya. Who can pass herself off as a young human despite being a possible mutant of over 1400 years old. Even older than Wolverine! And that’s where tomorrow continues.

Sigh. I wonder… Just how much of this Volume is going to be filled to get us caught up on these new girls backstroke before we reveal Kaguya’s past in Volume 22? Guess we will find out.

And yes. Nobody has yet figured out that Tsukasa’s act of saving Nasa at the very start probably made him immortal. But I think Kaguya might have figured it out (as of Volume 15). Stay tuned.

VIZ Komi Can’t Communicate Volume 14 Review Chapter One Hundred & Eighty-Six (Digital)

Everybody Needs Some Obon Sometime….
So this whole Chapter, presented in its about full state, is about the gang and the Obons (family) in their lives.

Except our forever unconscious teacher lady. She sleeps through her part, so I skipped her. Otherwise did you expect Makoto’s dojo family to act like they’re Japanese Yakuza? Me neither.

Other highlights is the strange oddness of pur first exposure to Otori’s mom. Pushover girl nearly being taken advantage of by s young male sibling. Najimi seemingly part of Tadano’s family…

Its a fun Chapter. Some unexpected moments. Mostly expected results. Still enjoyable all in all. Anyway Tadano is suffering from Shoko deficiency. So next Chapter its time for bicycle, bicycle, bicycle…

Queen sang about bicycles, Komi had bicycle on her list for the summer, so we bicycle race… Yomorrow. See you.

VIZ Komi Can’t Communicate Volume 14 Review Chapter One Hundred & Eighty-Five (Digital)

Grandma’s Got Game!
By now you think Akira (aka cutest niece ever) and Shoko would know better than to get roped into gambling with grandma. But nope. They’re at it again!

This time it seems she’s planning her own loss in order to encourage Akira to reach out and interact with Shosuke. Since he has been absent so far… All of one Chapter.

The sport? Sumo using a rather ingenious tool as the means to sumo. Weed stalks. As you know, certain weeds the more they grow become strong and hard to break. These are used in Sumo here.

Simply string the two opposing stalks together as seen in the manga pages, and go at it. First to break loses. And, as you probably already guessed, grandma is excellent in this sport.

She easily defeats Akira, then she defeats Shoko… Shocking yes… But this is all to draw Shosuke into the game. He would rather not? But given the options? And Akira’s decibels depending on each outcome? He has no choice.

He beats grandma, graciously thanks her for the challenge, and leaves… The area. Not the house. But that as they say is that. Akira now wants to interact more with Shosuke. Something he’s… Familiar with after meeting Tadano’s sister Hitomi. Oh well.

Tomorrow? We learn about Everyone’s Obon? What does that mean? What does that refer to in regards to the cast? Guess we will find out tomorrow.

Meanwhile March Sadness rolls into the 80s… But it’s gaze is aimed farther ahead. All the way to… 2010. Why? Think that gave away tonight’s review, but… Next year is also in our sights. With Jared Leto as the lead… And not The Joker. Coming up.

VIZ Komi Can’t Communicate Volume 14 Review Chapter One Hundred & Eighty-Four (Digital)

Mutual Of Inaka Presents Mutual Of Inaka’s Countryside Kingdom
So Shoko & Shosuke arrive at Grandma’s. The other family is there yoo. Of course since little niece is there.

So. This is the third time we been here in this series. Why is it NOW, suddenly, that there is nothing to do? That wasn’t an issue before. Oh, right, Inaka.

By the way this Chapter teaches you common tropes about country living. I guess they’re all true. I can kinda relate to some even. But is everything fried? Really?… Ok.

Inaka’s grandma knows Shoko’s grandma… Why Inaka’s grandma never told her that these are the same Komis as her former classmate from school, but ok. Its a shock to her.

Despite meeting her back way back when at the shrine. Didn’t she catch sight of her grandma back then? Guess not. Anyway its up to Inaka to show the fun in the great outdoors.

Which s actually more fun than you think! They live in a region where you can go catch tiny crabs (great for rustic seafood recipes)… And Japan’s version of the Nature Conservatory Group won’t try to arrest you for some conservation crime!

On the bright side they have kept the islands from being littered with giant billboard signs so I guess they’re not all that evil. Anyway Inaka even teaches them how to create bamboo poles for fishing!

The Chapter ends with the trio (no Shosuke) twins dying the opening & closing of The Andy Griffith Show (good old fashioned pole fishing down by the watering hole). Then comes an inquiry about early morning stag beetle catching!

No Ramen Rider Kabuto references was made in this ending. FYI. Anyway tomorrow? Something about… sumo wrestling? Great! That should be… Confusing. See you.
