Flashback To The Past So this is a flashback. It’s been a few days since Lilith returned back to the manor. She has come to the point she’s lonely. Lonely for young master Yuri.
She collapsed in the couch and falls asleep. Flashing back to the past. I posted her flashback in full pretty much, as tomorrow’s review shows that this flashback is important.
Why? It’s the day young Lilith met young Yuri for the first time.. How old are they when they first met? What’s their age now? Is this supposed to lead to something?
So far I’ve thought that this will lead to Lilith being revealed as a long unknown sister in law of Yuri. Maybe. But only the end of the series will ferret it out I guess.
So this is kinda interesting as we watch their first meeting. Where Yuri straight up tells young Lilith that she’s pretty… I’m still confused. Are they going to fall in love? Become family? What.
Oh well… We will be to this Chapter tomorrow. Then you can see how the Chapter goes to the moment Lilith wakes up, and Yuri is home once again. See you.
Promises Of More Flashback Fillers So I thought this would lead into another flashback. Instead it’s the promise of new flashbacks to come.
Having gotten her answer, Kaguya goes to bed. Tomorrow we will get to see what you all wanted to see. The Combat Maids catching them nude together in futon, and that while story. Yup.
Ramada decides to take the mask shard, and burn it. Telling us in flashback how creating this masked persona only led to much pain sorrow and regrets. How? Guess we will find out.
Nasa finds Tsukasa burning the shard. And she is a bit forthcoming about what she is doing… Without explaining the story of the mask. Just yet.
She asks if Nasa will be willing to hear her long story. About 1400 years worth of back story. If course we know he’s willing. And given that we still have 5 volumes left to go? Plenty of time for backstory.
Jumping ahead a bit to the end of the Chapter, Tsukasa confirms the next morning that the mask shard has been destroyed. But the last page seems to imply someone has the mask. Repaired and restored sans the part Tsukasa destroyed.
Who has that mask? Why do they have that mask? And how will this come into play in the remaining five volumes? Only time will tell U guess. But Tsukasa is right, sometimes you can’t escape your past.
Anyway tomorrow we see the results of Chitose escaping her pants. The whole Chitose and Kaguya sleeping naked thing. Which might be ironic since Chitose loved the 1400+ year old Tsukasa. Think she’ll love the over 1400 year old Kaguya? Ehh… Eh. See ya.
Everybody Wants To Change The World. They Just Can’t Agree On How To Do It… So this is an easy Chapter to digest. While in and of itself it’s not a flashback, said flashback is probably coming.
So the Director, one of Kaguya’s entourage pair who came up here to film a movie, finds a strange shard.
It’s old, and covered with several different languages. The most recent (but still old) being French. Written on this piece, in old Japanese Kanji, is the word Destruction.
So if course Kaguya decides to take this fragment to Tsukasa, who is rather amused she finds herself in her long time Fortress Of Solitude… With her husband.
Not the one to mince words, past saying she’s not happy with the selection of pillow given her… Kaguya shows Tsukasa the shard. Soliciting an angry reaction as she takes it back.
So what is it? Kaguya won’t be able to fall asleep if she doesn’t at least know what it is. Sans the deep dive into its history… Though I have a feeling we are going to get that shortly.
What is it? The remains of a… Mask. For once upon a time Tsukasa was some masked vigilante trying to change the ancient world. Or something… And that leads us to next Chapter.
So how did Tsukasa try to change the ancient world in a mask? Guess we are going to find out. Also no. Kaguya hasn’t hinted at having sex with Chitose. That’s Rule34s problem. And such problems should be left over there and away from us.

So Obvious I Bet You Figured It Out. Not the Kaguya thing… Again SPOILERS. If you are watching the Anime but haven’t read every review of the manga to date? Then major spoilers… Forever.
Literally forever as the revelations tap was turned on by Volume 15. And hasn’t stopped revealing since then. Speaking of revealing let’s get the ladies naked and bathing next review.
Why yes I am a horrible human being. Thanks for noticing. Anyway remember Kaguya’s two entourage friends? Started out as friends, but became sisters when one girl lost her parents in a case of sudden character plot syndrome?
We know they had a rivalry. Because one girl was upset that the other sister suddenly seemed smarter than her. She then befriended the immortal Kaguya.
If course nobody knows that Kaguya is in reality the so called Goddess Of The Moon. And from what I know she’s not really a goddess. She’s either Japanese Wolverine, or a Sailor Soldier clone from planet Plot Convenient. Something.
That friendship she has with both girls allows her to become a negotiator between the two. Which lasts all of a few pages. After their latest spat Kaguya goes and tells her the truth.
The reason why the other sister became so smart? It was to keep up with maybe her rival… Yeah. The girl we have been following this Chapter. She’s been angry basically over nothing.
And so they’re the best of friends and sisters again. Kaguya is their Number One Highlander pal from the Planet Sean Connery, and all is well… Or something.
Flashback is finally over. Back to the present… Where we distract you from thinking about Kaguya’s secrets with barely clad towel wearing naked women. Distracting huh?
Well like I said. The truth won’t be revealed until Next Volume (21) so we might as well just chill and enjoy the get together. Maybe. Bath time tomorrow. See you…

You must get one egg from each type (Earth, Sky, Water, Deep Sea, Tree and Stone) to give to the crazy Fur in the bunny outfit. Then you get a basket. From there? Eat every egg found to get tickets to get furniture. Ugh. What a pain.

Who Wants A Few Weeks Of Padding! That seems to be coming up. I guess we need padding. They’re just holding off the reveal that… Oh. Right. By now you know we are so deep in that SPOILERS exist every review. Yes?
Well there are spoilers in every review. Because we are finally near the end of the series. It ends this November at Volume 26! So yeah. Stop reading if you are watching the Anime and want no spoilers.
Ok? Ok! Ahem… Sigh. They’re just holding off the reveal that Ksguya is the so called Goddess Of The Moon that Tsukasa sought for lo 1400 years. I’m sure disappointment will come soon…
Anyway this padding finally gives us the back story on the two friends of Kaguya. Sisters by death. Their families were friends, but when one girls mom and dad died she was adopted by the other family. Instant sisters.
We find out that instant sisterhood was not easy. Especially as they are polar opposites. One girl was a tomboy who didn’t mind frogs… Or giant toads… The other not so much. Also didn’t appreciate wearing a toad on her head.
By Junior High one girl was moving up in the World as the smart one. The other one struggled. They ended up in the same Junior High, but one girl struggled to beat her “sister” academically.
So enter Kaguya. Who can pass herself off as a young human despite being a possible mutant of over 1400 years old. Even older than Wolverine! And that’s where tomorrow continues.
Sigh. I wonder… Just how much of this Volume is going to be filled to get us caught up on these new girls backstroke before we reveal Kaguya’s past in Volume 22? Guess we will find out.
And yes. Nobody has yet figured out that Tsukasa’s act of saving Nasa at the very start probably made him immortal. But I think Kaguya might have figured it out (as of Volume 15). Stay tuned.
So Short The Talk About The Shadow Will Be Longer! Remember when they did the sleepover at Katai Makoto’s family dojo? Did the Test Of Courage? And it invoked all of Class 2-2?!? Ever wondered how it was pulled off?
Apparently it takes a class to punk a Komi. Because here is the story behind the set up. Which had the same effort out into one test of courage as an indie horror movie!
Also it could have ended badly as one girl only went because she wanted to… Grab female boobs. Really? That’s assertive in an aggressive lesbian of sense of her… Call the cops.
Speaking of cops? We end the month of March Sadness needing cops. Food in 1937 New York! Because The Shadow is… Stopping people from breaking into a lawyer’s office…?? Prequel to Coyote Vs ACME?!? BTW… Movie inspired by a New Yorker article called Coyote Vs ACME?!? Seriously??
Then we need British Constables to get their blue flanks out to the British countryside! There’s a blackmailer pretending to be The Shadow! Arrest him for copyright theft! And blackmail… Is that really a UK crime? Blackmail is a day ending in WHY on the BBC!
The Shadow. Golden Age versiod. And… Because They Made Blood And Honey Wrong Film Genre version?!? Are all these people in the countryside hidden criminals?!? Sigh. Coming up.
In Truth There Is Only Regrets… So let’s sum this up quickly. This Chapter reveal is kinda important, but I guess only in the end results as to why Tsukasa is so motivated the way she is. SPOILERS of course.
Is this the burial place of the one time mistress of an important historical figure of 800 years ago? Yes. Her story, and where she falls off the timeline, is found in this Chapter.
As with a great deal of things, this manga blends IRL individuals and events with its long lived story of regret, obsession, and loss. Ultimately ending in love. That’s fine. Makes it interesting.
So is Kaguya right? Is this graveyard the find of a millennium? Maybe… Except what will truly be earned disturbing the tests of all these bodies? As this entire graveyard? Holds the remains of many years of people who were known, but fell off the radar.
Could modern science even hope to 100% ID every body? Without the genetic info from history to match it to? At best they can deduce its more than likely they are the famous missing people… But then what?
The ultimate take away from this graveyard? Tsukasa’s impact on the timeline has weaved a long trail of individuals she knew. All dying holding fast her secrets. Some vanishing to do so.
In the end this graveyard is a sharp painful reminder of over a millenia of loss. And her quest to end her forced, unwanted immortality. Anyway everyone decides to let the dead lie undisturbed. No one will report this.
Suddenly Kaguya is satisfied, finding the answer to her question. That question? Why is this place so important to Tsukasa. Answer? It contains the remains of the people she cared for in the past.
So that seems to be it… Except that answers Kaguya’s inquiry. Now it’s time for Tsukasa to wonder… Who Kaguya is. We know. From the fact this is near done? And future volume solicits? We know.
We know she’s the so called Goddess Of The Moon whose blood made Tsukasa immortal… By the way nobody yet addressed the fact that Tsukasa using her blood to save Nasa probably made him immortal too.
But how? And who is she really? That answer… Won’t be here until Volume 22. We are just walking there one Chapter at a time. Speaking of which we go on tomorrow. See you.
Underground Doors Sometimes Leads To Flashbacks… Kaguya is obsessed with the downstairs door she has found, while going with Chitose to get ingredients to make dinner with.
Tsukasa and Chitose compare notes. It seems that they have enough to feed the larger group of six, but only have three beddings. The option? Double up at sleep time.
The two film crew ladies are ok with sharing a bedding. Are they secret lesbians? Probably not. But we can now see if Chitose is a secret lesbian. She will be paired up with Kaguya. Nasa & Tsukasa of course are paired up.
Of course Chitose is concerned about this, but all Kaguya can think of is that door. After dinner she sneaks back down sure that Tsukasa’s earlier answer that this leads to an emergency getaway exit didn’t satisfy her.
Sure enough she is confronted by Ysukasa. Apparently Kaguya hasn’t been the first obsessed with that door… Chitose was probably the previous obsessed girl.
Before she can go through, one of Kaguya’s entourage grabs her by the hair to stop her. But Tsukasa decides to let her go. Because, as she says, the answers Laguna seeks aren’t behind the door.
The door? Indeed leads out into the woods as an escape route. But leads into a hidden graveyard, and the opening of a flashback story where Tsukasa knew the mistress of a famous Japanese leader 800 years ago…
Oh joy. Another time stalling flashback is incoming. Guess we will just have to wade through it next weekend. Anyway its time for Shoko & Shosuke’s trip to the family home. Via bus.its like that trip from Fly Me To The Moon. Only less married. See you.
Left Behind On A Cliffhanger Ok technically we have one more Chapter to the end of the volume. But that’s a moment with Yuuri and Lilith making little snow people.. Not to be terrorized by Natsume as Maidzilla.
So Lilith realizes she needs to talk to Yuuri. As there are things she has been keeping from him. But with the occasional random guest popping in, like they lived in a sitcom, they need alone time.
Seriously she acts like people drop in all the time. They have all the alone time in the world. But this compels her to go on a “date” with Yuuri. Going on a date was Yuuri’s idea, obviously.
But even with Yuuri boldly exclaiming him love, and shaking Lilith to get core, she still has things to tell him… But first, after spending time doing her favorite thing (seeing the lovely Christmas light displays out on homes as the holiday nears) she asks him the question…
When Yuuri says he loves Lilith, what kind of love is it? If course. Even Yuuri realizes if Natsume said it, she probably learned it from Lilith.
Answer? He doesn’t know. But he wants to find out with Lilith if he can. Pressuring every moment they are together, just the two of them.
Lilith finally answers his question from earlier. Is she just there because he hired her. She admits she felt for him since they were younger and she first met him. And that she adores him…
…ok. I won’t run off the proverbial homeland by assuming anything. She adores him, not loves him. So… Yeah. And it may seem like they’re growing closer, but the Chapter end shows Lilith hoping he still loves her when all is revealed.
What is Lilith hiding from Yuuri that she’s so worried about? Guess only Volume 6 will reveal that. I already have that so that’s in the near future. Tomorrow… Do you want to build Komi Hearts Tadano Micro Snowpeople? See you.
