Sorry for the delay. If you read yesterday’s brief update I was under the weather so I couldn’t work on my reviews. I’m rebounded now so let’s get to it.

Since we are pretty much at the end? Save one Chapter and some bonus? We can call it wraps here. We will continue with Volume 15 in the near future.

Anyway there is no need to draw this out. For all the guest cameos have seen Tadano & Rumiko getting along well… Butcher they perceive is not quite the truth… Is it?

At the end, just as Rumiko is about to realize that Komi is standing before her. She admits to herself that… She has a crush on Tadano. Not full on love. Not yet.

This feels like the moment to end Season 3 on. A cliffhanger where you are left debating whether or not Rumiko is the right girl for Tadano. Luckily Netflix didn’t leave us on this cliffhanger.

Unluckily Netflix can’t get their acts together and green light Seasons 3-4 yet either so… Mixed bag here. Otherwise it’s a good awakening of Rumiko’s feelings for Tadano story.

Will it go anywhere? Dunno. Only reviewers who was reviewing since Day 1, and has every volume to date, knows that one. I’m just mildly walking my way through nearly 30 volumes of content here.

So looking forward to beginning Volume 15. For now it’s back to Fly Me To The Moon Volume 20. Then this week coming… We shall see. Stay tuned. Meanwhile? April Madness finally begins.

They Saw Everything… And Still Misunderstood.
Looks like this ending of the volume is just here to further cement in the whole rivalry between Rumiko & Shoko over Tadano. Yeah. So anyway…

Since Aunt Kagari likes her men big and muscular (Katai), she sends Komi to use her Komi Effect to bring in customers. And sends Tadano & Rumiko off to give people the wrong impression.

This first several pages? Dunno is awfully nervous, being away from Komi & Katai with Tadano. Completely alone in a Festival full of random characters.

For some reason, and doesn’t he notice he’s freaking Rumiko out? Tadano wants to apologize at long last for a few Volumes ago. When he defended Rumiko by saying he’s her boyfriend.

Car from pissed, she’s actually tickled… Decade-oh Pink… Oh wait. According to the actor who plays Kaman Rider Decade it’s Cyan or something… Anyway she’s liking the idea of having Tadano be her one and only.

Yeah no. Unless this series has a twist ending and they really do become one? It’s clear Tadano is meant for Komi… Fight? Guess only future reviews will merit that out.

Anyway for this lot of nothing? Hitomi & Shosuke see it all… But do they understand what they have seen? Anyway not the last to claim they have seen it all. But that’s tomorrow. See you.

In a bit of irony? Today, as I review a manga chapter that inspires me to think of Queen? I’m getting for a fiber the 1980 Flash Gordon Movie from Amazon Prime! Whose existence invokes Queen!!

Suffering from an acute Komi Shoko deficiency, Tadano invited her for a bike ride. Which quickly turns into bike riding lessons for two… Wait… Didn’t Komi ride a bike in an earlier Volume?!?

Also the rusty bike lent to her by momma Shouko? Was that the bike she rode once in a flashback story of her falling for Mr. Komi? Guess that explains it’s bad condition.

It seems to me the whole point of giving Shoko this rusty deathtrap of a bike? Do that she and Tadano grow closer together. Which seems to work…

After repeatedly having the bike nearly shake itself apart, luckily not falling apart since Tadano didn’t anticipate the state in which Kom I would bring said bike in. It’s a fun Chapter, but still.

When Tadano gets in the bike, and experiences it’s seemingly cursed shaking and shuddering? Komi ends up falling down with him. In top of him. The traditional falling together pose for young manga couples in love. Awww… Uh huh.

Anyway what a little pro mechanic bike care adventure the two end up going on, as Tadano teaches Komi how to ride a bike. How to make the bike vibrate like it’s flying around the sun in an atte!or to time travel, and how to fall on top of the one you love. Sweet.

So it’s back to Fly Me To The Moon Volume 20 this weekend. Are we about to sit through a (Redacted) flashback where… Uhh… Things happen. Yeah. Guess we find out tomorroe. Beware of SPOILERS.

We return to Komi on Monday. When Najimi decides to corrupt Class 2-1 by teaching them the Way Of The Prankster. No! Not with Buddha amongst the class!… Oh wait. I’m still kissed at Buddha for the end of Sorcerer And The White Snake 2012. Corrupt him!!

Anyway we made it to the weekend! I have no cancer after my surgery, and not enough teeth to worry about cavaties. Bye.

Just Because You Patterned Your Dates After Pretty Woman, Your Not Getting The Julia Robert Robert Redford Experience!
Apparently, when the spectre of Writer’s Block (not to be confused with the carpal tunnel syndrome relative Writer’s Cramp) strikes Heke? She calls Shinohara for help.

This time Shinohara actually suggests a solution (dining at a high end restaurant) that is her secretly taking Heke on a date. Nice, on paper…

Except Heke thinks it’s work, so she’s so bogged down in memorizing everything to break her block? She’s not actually dating Shinohara. So fail.

It’s not until they stop at a street food stall… How long do those things stay open in Japan?… Does it actually feel like a date. Ruined immediately because the series creator can’t stop reading us, only to draw short on these two.

Yeah. If these two actually become an item by series end? Color me surprised. Anyway cliche stereotyped overly expensive restaurant with micro portions. Lack of concrete attempts to push the romance forward. Watching them is… Sad and frustrating.

Monday we dive into a single long Chapter with Iori & Minami. Then we are nearly done with Volume 4. Before that? We wrap up She Loves To Cook She Loves To Eat Volume 3. Stay tuned.

Your Title Is Too TeaL DeeR For Words!
So it’s another movie. This time it’s just an Anime movie from one of those series with the ridiculously long Too Long Don’t Read titles. Apparently modern creators just copy paste their series synopsis as their title because… TeaL DeeR!

So this is Heke and Shinohara. Heke took Shinohara on a date to see this movie about a modern day girl reincarnated in medieval times. Lesbian fun happened. Because of course it did.

Shinohara? Overtime the simple movie she was brought to. Then can’t bring herself to tell Heke that she just wants to be with her. Nope. That would be too much I guess. So I guess this misunderstanding will continue into Volume 4.

Will this title end at Volume 4? It’s beginning to look like that might be the case. But we will see what happens when I buy Volume 4 in a few weeks. It’s out February 20th if I remember right.

We end February reviewing… Ugh… Another disc from Ultraman Nexus. It’s a disc full of mind wipes!… Which is great, because every time I review a disc of this I keep forgetting what I reviewed. Guess I’ll need the booklet from the case just to remember before I forget.

Are You A Child?!?
Brief story as we see Heke and Shinohara indulging in their favorite hobby. Gaming. As such Heke is crushed when she can’t get an Exclusive Nintendo Switch (Island Edition)… What?!

Isn’t it an urban legend that die hard PC gamers (like Heke and Shinohara) are NOT Casual Gamers? And isn’t Nintendo ownership synonymous with Casual Gaming?

Also… Island Edition Switch? Was Heke trying to buy the Nintendo Switch bundled with Animal Crossing New Horizon?!? Why! Isn’t Heke a die hard Call Of Duty fan… Does this mean we will see a future Chapter where Heke visits Shinohara’s village??… WAIT!!

Shinohara calls herself a die hard gamer. And says she per ordered the Switch with Animal Crossing… Isn’t it supposed to be her later ego Lala who is the die hard gamer? Not Shinohara? Inconsistencies!!

Anyway to prove my earlier belief that Iori and Shinohara know each other, the pair pass by Iori & Minami in the mall. Holding hands. The only way Shinohara can lure Heke home to work on her manuscript.

Iori harasses Shinohara about catching her at the mall with the author she loves. Even though Shinohara keeps calling her her Artist… IT’S ONE OR THE OTHER! MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!

I’m going to post a break post next. Because I’m filling the rest of the month with Birdie Wing and Johnny Sokko. Yeah I know I’ve taken a few breaks. Well if I got the chance I’m taking them. Especially as all February is one non stop review of Case Closed Season 2. Stay tuned.

…Something About Getting Shinohara In A Rowboat…
So. Apparently since Shinohara is giving Heke check about the scenarios she’s picking for the latest chapters of her romance manga? She decided to make their next research date a boat one.

Apparently Heke thinks she will make a good impression on Shinohara by doing a boat date. With a rowboat… That she doesn’t row. Maybe that’s why Shinihara brought up the star about boat dates being bad for long term relationships.

Anyway today Shinohara asks Heke why she’s a First Person Shooter fan. Bringing up entirely made up facts from some internet search about how some FPS players are horrible humans or something. Hmph. Tapping X to Doubt here. Even if DSP is a FPS player he’s not that horrible… Maybe.

Anyway Heke says she plays FPS because Lala aka Shinohara played them first. So… I guess it’s on Shinohara. She made Heke a FPS gamer. I guess. However before Shinohara can confess something, an oblivious Heke ruins the moment.

Shinohara tells Heke she should stop drawing Romance Manga… Wait! Then why do you keep demanding her manuscripts for her manga if she DRAWS it! Oh right. She writes and draws.

Yeah then she needs to stop WRITING Romance mangas! Not stop DRAWING them! Sigh… Monday we return with Minami, Iori, and the drunken moments before lesbian sex. Monday.

You Can Take A Kujou To A Lesbian Bar…
…but you can’t make her date. That’s the takeaway from Yui’s efforts to finally help Kujou get into the lesbian bar next to her job at the Maid Cafe.

Let’s see… We find out Yui is considered a difficult person to date. But she just knows what she wants… I think. Kujou is finally lured into the lesbian bar by Yui. Strange. I’m This world high schoolers can serve alcohol AND take their teachers to lesbian bars.

Regardless it seems that helping Kujou get into the bar is the least of Yui’s problems in aiding Kujou. NOW she has to completely teach Kujou how to date !

Yup. All this desire to have a living girlfriend but none of the skills to land one. Also? Is this title still hunting that Kujou and Yui will hook up or not? I’m curious.

Yet Another Instance Of A Story Dating Itself… Not Like That.
In this instance it’s Panda Land aka Disneyland Tokyo. Mainly that now people can depict Steamboat Willy Gen1 era Mickey Mouse now that he’s Public Domain.

The second being Splash Mountain. As isn’t it presently being dismantled or replaced? Well… They didn’t show Splash Mountain so I guess they can get away with just mentioning it. Though lazy edit calling it Splass Mountsin. Sheesh.

Heke needs to research a dating story taking place in Panda Land aka Disneyland Tokyo. Instead of funding the trip, manga studio staff member… Iori?… Recommends that Heke takes Shinohara on the trip as a date.

I.e. Have Shinohara pay for the date. Which I guess she was fine with… Until she ride the fast rides like Splash Mountain… Which is only half fast. It’s not like they rode Big Thunder Mountain… Right?

Anyway what do we learn? We learn that Heke likes roller coasters, Shinohara likes to watch the abject misery of complete strangers in a theme park. And the creator needs to go to Disneyland Tokyo.

Why else would a random park actress be dressed like she’s from The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter from Universal Studios Osaka? Also it ends ok. Heke gets her research pics.

And Shinohara ruins it all by saying she never wants to go to the Unhappiest Place Ever again. And this predates the ruin visited upon Disney by Cheapack and Iger so… Yeah.

Lesbian Dating Is War!!… Says The High School Girl Working In The Maid Cafe.
So this is short. You can browse the pages yourself. Anyway now that Kujou wants Yui’s help to step into the mysterious Bar Of Lesbians? Suddenly…

Suddenly we find that Kujou, despite being scared to enter, doesn’t think there’s much to finding a girlfriend. A short short girlfriend according to her imagination from last Chapter.

Yui, despite her swagger, seems to be over thinking it. Thinking it will literally be a struggle for Kujou to find love. Thing is… Given Kujou’s Komi like shyness? She’s not wrong.

Somewhere between Kujou’s idealized fantasy, and Yui’s extreme tact? There’s a happy middle ground where Kujou finds love. And since this title is probably shipping Kujou and Yui? That won’t be much of a journey once they go there.

Maybe not so much when and if they go there I guess. But that’s what we might be looking forward to when they return. Next time though? Probably Monday if I finally finish Maid V5? It’s Minami and Iori again.

It’s that special time in the mirning, when you and your lesbian lover wake up… And you both need to pee. Yeah. We need to make fun of lesbian couples fighting over toilet useage. What have we been reduced to… Stay tuned.
