VIZ How Do We Relationship Volume 2 Part 9 Review

The Review Is Honest With ITself… No Wait. The Manga Is Honest. Also We End This Review Until Next Month And Volume 3.

So we end the review. And apparently Saeko was listening, if only partially, because she finally breaks down in front of Miwa and confesses being jealous. Well… she confesses that she’s been acting like a child lately. I guess you can imply the jealous part but…

So suddenly both women are trying to confess to each other, and we end up realizing that their problems are in fact interconnected. The reason Saeko is jealous is because Miwa has been trying to shed her shy persona, and become more sociable. All so she can be as strong as Saeko, and not lose her. Except as far as Saeko is concerned, Miwa blooming into an extrovert is making her feel dejected… and is triggering her jealousy as she believes Miwa is strong.

So both women ultimately ended up being weak, believing that the other is strong even as they felt they were themselves weak. And thankfully the other roommates are leaving for plot convenience hook ups with seniors… because they need to be away from the room so Miwa and Saeko can finally compare notees, and realize where they stand with each other. Also for boinking. It’s always boinking isn’t it.

So the second conflict of their relationship has been overcome. The conflict? Both women feeling inadequate, and fearing losing the other from their perceived feelings of weakness. And all it cost was the happiness of one of the band, who had to lose his girlfriend all so he could speak out loud what Saeko was holding back… sorry guy. You had to get tossed under the bus Last Action Hero style in order to move the plot forward.

So the volume ends with the gang returning back home a day early. Because the plot conflict has been resolved, and they can just go home. Which is fine… because the next conflict to hit the pair is already being teased at the end of the volume. This time it concerns Miwa, and her family… I assume. Because I guess it is time for Miwa to finally reveal the state of her relationship to her family. How will this turn out? Guess we will find out when it happens.

So what will Volume 3 be? Let’s take a look at the description… “Miwa and Saeko are loving the couple’s life, but a miscommunication in the bedroom proves to be more of a threat to the easy rhythm of their relationship than either thought possible. After all, the past is hard to leave behind, especially when Miwa is invited to a reunion with some of her high school friends, including the first love she never really got over.”

UH BOTHER… what I thought was family turned out to be a past relationship… ugh. Wait. I thought Saeko had the monopoly on past relationship woes. Guess it’s now time for Miwa to have an ex to worry over… which is still ONE ex over the army of exes lined up behind Saeko. But yeah. We shall see if Miwa’s one rogue Ex will prove to be a troublesome human or not. Stay tuned.

So all in all it’s another good volume. 5 out of 5. I’ve been liking the book all in all, and though I am pondering getting a new yuri love romance book to review… the ones I am looking at are TOO EXPENSIVE! Also one title I can’t find a copy of Volume 1 to review but… well… we shall see if I add on. But that is a thing for another time. Anyway if you haven’t tried out How Do You Relationship? Go on. You might like it. Anyway…

Next week? We are looking at… from VIZ it’s Fly Me To The Moon Volume 5. Because I don’t want to fall too far behind, which is a bit hard since the title cranks out a new volume every two months.

We hit the weekends with a Yen Press (Yen Junior? And Disney’s Big Hero 6… and a Chapter review so bucking long I hope to cram sixty-ish pages into one weekend review… gee. Couldn’t they have broken this up into smaller Chapter blocks? Anyway, that’s the weekend ahead so let’s get to it. See you tomorrow!
